People love to look at photographs of homes. When we open a magazine to a beautiful photo spread of a homes interior, we leap through a photographic window into another reality. We enjoy an unhurried moment in which we can appreciate the beauty of a home. We imagine ourselves living in this space that someone has created to suit a life and personality, where the people who live in the home feel happy and can really be themselves.
Since the vast majority of home buyers start their search for a home on the web, your house had better look fabulous in print. If real estate doesn't track well online, no one will take the time to see it in person. And you have to make sure you take the pictures that count. Too often real estate pictures are posted in the Multiple Listing Service of a closet, a pantry or a hallway.
