Welcome and thanks for visiting. The big question you may have is exactly what am I offering?

I need to build a portfolio to showcase my work and to do that I need subjects.  I've been professionally photographing homes and buildings for a long time, however I'm looking to expand.  I need live subjects, whether that be family portraits, senior pictures, pets, babies or anything else you may want photographs of.  I am willing to forgo any sitting/sessions fees.  The only cost to you will be the final photographs if you choose to purchase any (more on this later as this will also be discounted).

As I seek to expand my portfolio with live subjects and to build and display my work through a developing photography website (www.peppinphotography.com) I need galleries.  I truly believe I can provide you with beautifully crafted pictures that rival that of any photographer in town.  By offering the upfront sessions for free I am guaranteed to be able to build that portfolio.  This is extremely important to me and why I'm will to provide the sittings/sessions free of charge.  It is my hope that you will want to purchase prints after the session, but even if you don't, I am still able to build my portfolio.

What about getting the actual pictures and/or prints?  The printing process is another specific area where I need to gather experience.  And again, to gather that experience, I will be significantly discounting the price of the final printed product.  With architectural photography the Internet is typically the media to display your work.  There is rarely a need to work with professional printers for the final product.  It is different when working with live subjects who may be looking for a final product that can be hung, displayed, mailed out, etc.  Whether you want graduation or birth announcements, senior/child/family albums, business/holiday/greeting cards, head shots, etc., I will work with you to custom build a package that meets your specific needs.  Everything is possible in any combination you want (including simply providing you the pictures in an electronic format).  In return, I gain valuable experience.

I do encourage you to contact me as early as you can.  I only need a certain number of photos for each category so depending on the interest I receive, there may be certain sessions that will become unavailable.  I will be looking to work with each client to create unique and exceptional experiences for each session which may require different locations, day and evening sessions, multiple wardrobe, style and hair changes etc.  Please be aware that after the session there is a significant amount of time required to professionally retouch the images and build the final product.  This means most sessions will take a little more time than a photographer typically schedules.
